Evolved human beings have a very calm breath. Normally you breathe 15 times a minute. If you breath 10 times a minute you'll be very energetic. If you breathe 5 times a minute you'll be very intelligent. If you can breathe 1 time a minute you will become invincible. -Yogi Bhajan

Stress & Your Health

This following excerpt is from recent research by Mark Hyman MD   “Stress plays a dramatic role in blood sugar imbalances. It triggers insulin resistance, promotes weight gain around the middle, increases inflammation, and ultimately can cause diabetes and heart disease.
It is essential to engage in relaxation practices on a regular basis, such as yoga, breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, guided imagery, exercise, hot baths, meditation, massage, bio-feedback, and even hypnosis.
  Your survival depends on it.”
Notice that Yoga is the first practice mentioned.
Even our Western Medical Community is advocating what Yogis have known for thousands of years. Diabetes, Heart Disease, and Obesity are controlled or eliminated through right living. If you have let Yoga slip through your fingers now is the time to get back on track because ...there is no other time!
As Dr. Hyman states..
Your survival depends on it!
There is no better gift that you can give to yourself and your loved ones than your good health. Join us M/W/F mornings at 6 AM for an invigorating way to boost your metabolism, clear your mind, and stay strong.
